2 Effective Ways to Overcome Masturbation OR Any Compulsive Habits
There is an impurity problem in the world which we cannot deny or shy away from.
A lot of Christians are waging a war in their closet with many compulsive habits and many are perplexed by their constant defeat.
There is no reason to live in despair and defeat. The problem of impurity and sexual urge is easy to overcome.
It should be easy for believers in Christ to control sexual urges, overcome masturbation, sexual struggle or any compulsive habit whether you are single or married, around your wife, opposite sex (male or female), or away from home.
Sex-related vices like masturbation, fornication, adultery, etc, are some of the reasons a lot of Christians are weak and not enjoying the power of God.
A large number of believers between the ages of 16 and 60 are struggling secretly with one sexual sin or compulsive habit.
In their quest to overcome sexual struggle, especially masturbation, some people subject themselves to constant fasting and prayers or therapy and, in some cases, to all manner of other man-made programs, hoping that by so doing they would experience victory over the flesh.
Although prayer, combined with fasting, is an important spiritual exercise that can help keep the body in check, but many people soon discover that the effect is not far-reaching.
Of all compulsive habits that keep a lot of people bound to sinful nature, masturbation is by far the most difficult to overcome naturally – if not impossible. There are three reasons for this assertion.
Reason #1: Masturbation is a habit that a lot of people cultivate at a very tender age.
Reason #2: Masturbation is pleasurable and serves as an outlet for sexual pressure where marital conjugation is not possible; hence the difficulty in overcoming the habit. In fact, it is easier to overcome adultery or fornication by sheer will power, but overcoming masturbation is a different story.
Reason #3: Masturbation is a habit that many Christians do not discuss openly because of shame. This is one of the reasons the habit is difficult to break.
Once started, it is futile to attempt overcoming masturbation by will power, especially if the person is unmarried. This is the reason a lot of people are perplexed by the phenomenon and have given up the struggle, concluding that it is impossible to overcome their weakness.
Yet, there are divine provisions from God to guarantee freedom from sinful nature.
What is the way out?
Introducing Keys to Purity…
Keys to Purity is an eBook (PDF) written to teach any interested person two effective ways to overcome any habit, addiction, or weakness.
Spiritual weakness due to sinful nature was discovered by all the apostles of the Lord Jesus; and Apostle Paul, in particular, narrates his own weakness in Romans 7:15-25. But He also writes about his victory in some of his epistles.
There are two sections in the eBook, Keys to Purity.
Section one contains a straightforward explanation of God’s provision for man to break any compulsive habit with a simple, yet effective, spiritual activity. This spiritual activity was the practice of the early disciples.
The spiritual activity takes about a minute and can be repeated ten times a day for a cumulative of 10 minutes a day.
The second section contains a detailed explanation of a private feast.
It is stated in the Old Testament that God gave Israel seven different feasts to commemorate certain landmark events in their history.
These feasts are festivals that point back to the past, but when the Lord Jesus came on the scene He instructed His disciples to eat His flesh and drink His blood for communion with Him (John 6:48-58). This is referred to as Holy Communion.
Sadly, a lot of believers do not know how to appropriate this divine provision to activate God’s power for healing, to boost spiritual power, to overcome any form of weakness or compulsive habit.
There are at least seven different ways to prepare and serve Holy Communion. In the eBook, Keys to Purity, the reader will learn how to overcome any weakness with a combination of two simple and effective spiritual activities.
